Award-winning romantic comedy author Bev Huston lives in beautiful British Columbia where she says, "Residents don't tan, they rust."
Mix and Match, her first novella, won Favorite Novella of the Year at the 2003 Americian Christian Romance Writers national Write to the Heart conference held in Houston. BLIND DATES rose to #7 on the CBA Bestseller list and is still available in stores or online.
STRINGS OF THE HEART released in October 2003 (read an excerpt) and Let My Heart Go, her first full-length novel, hit bookstores in October 2004.
THE BACHELOR CLUB, another fun anthology from Barbour, releases April 1, 2005. Additional authors are: Rhonda Gibson, Janet Spaeth, Kathleen Y'Barbo. Ms. Huston's novella, Right for Each Other, finds cartoonist Isaac Brooks struggling with a problem he can no longer ignore once he meets Miss Hart, a pretty game show hostess.
All of the foregoing books can be purchased online at Amazon, Chapters, Barnes and Noble, and Christianbook.com or at your local Christian Bookstore.
Like most writers, Bev dreams of the time when she can quit her day job and write full time, but she recognizes the phrase 'starving artist' had to come from somewhere. So, she'll continue dreaming.
While writing itself is a solitary job, there are many events and people that help bring everything together. She is grateful to those who have answered questions, critiqued her work or simply supported her in her fanciful goal. Aside from individuals, too numerous to mention, she belongs to several online lists for writers. Perhaps the most beneficial group is the American Christian Romance Writers. Bev finds the members incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many published authors willing to answer questions and offer information. If you're an inspirational author, check out this informative e-mail loop.
