Gratitude!

Just a little word that holds so much.  Below are some of my thoughts and expressions of appreciation for those who help make a writer's life fuller. Click here to read some new gratitude thoughts (September 27, 2003)

Family.  Where would I be without them?  Out of debt and still a brunette!

Friends.  Everyone needs to surround themselves with friends.  Then, when you hear about their troubles you can be thankful your own life ain't so bad.

Pastors. Do they know something I don't? Scary, ain't it?

Bad Drivers.  Ah, don't get me started.  But to help reduce road rage I watch these lunatics and try to imagine what they are like with co-workers and family.  It's not a pretty image, let me tell you.

Garbage Disposal Workers.  Now there's a group of people who take the phrase 'one man's junk is another man's treasure' to heart, eh?

But seriously, I am grateful for a family that doesn't complain about the state of our house and rejoices with me when I make a sale.

I'm thankful for other writers who understand the sometimes painful road I walk.

I will never cease to be amazed by the generosity of experts willing to answer question after question.  I could dedicate a whole book to several people who are a constant help with my writing. Just a few:  Elwood Johnson, Al Munro, Cherie Anderson, Barry Buzza, all the viola players at viola.com, and Pete Marsden.

I'm especially grateful for my pastor who wouldn't let me give up when I wondered if I was even in God's will.

There are so many who have touched my life and made a difference.  I'm grateful to all of you.  Thanks!
